The Details

Blauer Portugieser and Scheurebe (predominantly - some other varieties are typically chucked in as well) from biodynamically cultivated vines in Flonheim, a small village in the Rheinhessen. Grapes are hand-harvested, co-macerate for a short period of time (on the scale of a day or two) prior to pressing. Spontaneous co-fermentation and aging in stainless steel before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 9.5% ABV!
