The Details
90% Grenache, 10% Nerello Mascalese from an ancient vineyard (140+ years-old!) on Etna's Versante Nord, planted at 1000m elevation. Grapes are hand-harvested, macerate for several weeks prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and aging for 12-18 months in large neutral wood. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 14.5%ABV
