The Details
50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc from the En Valingrain vineyard planted to kimmeridgian marl soils in Riceys. A single barrel only is produced each vintage (~336 btls). The grapes are hand-harvested, slowly directly pressed and spontaneously co-ferment in a single barrel sur lie for a year prior to being bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2. The wine is then aged at least 2-3 years (often more) in bottle prior to release.
