The Details
From Georgia, Nino is a beautiful marriage of winemaking cultures that mirrors the marriage of Champagne native Bastien Waskotte & Nino Gvantseladze. Working just outside Tbilisi, this gorgeous sparkler's base is a perpetual reserve composed of Tsitska, Tsolikouri, Chinuri, and Goruli Mtsvane. From 2023, this wine is blended with 10% of this perpetual reserve. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in 90% neutral oak and 10% Qvevri prior to blending, bottling and aging sur lattes. Disgorged and released in the Spring of 2025. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal (<20ppm) added SO2.
