The Details
100% Chenin Blanc sourced from organically cultivated vines by Claude & Julien Mesnard in Montreuil-Bellay of the western Loire. Grapes are hand-harvested, 20% are destemmed and macerate whole-berry in the directly-pressed juice of the remaining 80% of the grapes. Gentle daily punchdowns for 14 days prior to pressing. Spontaneously fermented, the wine ages for 7 months in stainless steel prior to 6 months in bottle before release. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
