The Details
A field-blend of Muskat Ottonel, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, and Traminer all biodynamically cultivated in the Altenberg Vineyard (Gols) by Pittnauer. Grapes are hand-harvested, and vinified separately as: Sauv Blanc/Chardonnay co-macerate/ferment in open vat for 2 weeks; Muskat Ottonel macerates/ferments on its own for 3 days; Traminer macerates/ferments for 20 days in amphora; Gelber Muskateller is directly pressed. These 4 wines are aged separately for ~6 months in amphora and neutral oak before blending and bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 11.5% ABV
