The Details

From the Trivium - an area where Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio meet at high elevation - this is a biodynamically cultivated white/skin-contact wine courtesy of Podere Orto. 60% Procanico, 40% a blend composed of Verdello, Roscetto, Malvasia, Grechetto from a co-planted parcel. Grapes are hand-harvested, and spontaneously ferment in fiberglass tanks, co-macerating for 48 hours prior to pressing. Élevage continues in fiberglass for up to 18 months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
