About the wine

100% Alicante Bouschet yielded from historic centenarian, organically cultivated vines in Cucamonga Valley due east of Los Angeles in southern California. Sandy soils, farmed sans irrigation. 25% whole-cluster, 75% destemmed, this wine spontaneously ferments and is basket-pressed into neutral french barrel for 10 months of élevage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal SO2 at bottling. 11.5%ABV
