Pinot Gris / Pinot Noir from San Luis Obispo, grown above the sandstone quarry at the Bassi Vineyard, this block has an ocean view. 1 ton of Pinot Gris was picked with ½ ton of Pinot Noir. The Pinot Gris was all wholecluster and we destemmed the Pinot Noir on top of the Gris. The wine was fermented for 11 days, then gently pressed in the wooden basket press. Bottled 8 month later without fining or filtering. 12.2 % ABV
