The Details
Gamay with a strong, assertive character, true to its Ardèche origins. Climate and terroir give the wine its power. It was whole-cluster macerated for two months. This was followed by extended bâtonnage for about three months, 3 to 4 times per week, to achieve a long finish on the palate. Acidic sandstone soils bring mineral notes and a pronounced fruit expression. Aged 6 months in barrels.
