Meaty, classic northern Italian red. 100% Barbera from the oldest vineyard at Tenuta Foresto (~60 year old vines). Grapes are destemmed and spontaneously ferment/macerate for a month prior to pressing. Élevage is 12+ months in 700L tonneaux. bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 15%ABV
