This is a glou-glou blend from Thomas Boutin who works 3 hectares of vines between Rochefort-sur-Loire and Saint Aubin in France's Loire Valley.
Tasting Notes: A chillable slammer! This wine is ready for your pizza/pasta/throw-some-tomatoes-on-the-lettuce-and-let's-call-it-a-day night.
Vinification: A blend of Cabernet Franc and Gamay hand-harvested from vines grown in schist and quartz soil. The grapes undergo an eight-day whole-cluster maceration and fermentation in separate stainless steel tanks before pressing. They are later blended and go through a short aging before bottling. Unfined, unfiltered with no additional SO2. ~30 mg/L total.
