About the wine

From the debut vintage of Vins Mercuriales this is 70% Pineau d'Aunis 30% Gamay purchased from organically cultivated vines in the Loire. Naturally vinified separately, there is a 7-day semi-carbonic maceration for the Pineau d'Aunis & a 15-day full carbonic maceration for the Gamay. Blended thereafter, the wine rests in stainless steel prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 11.7% ABV
