The Details
70% Sauvignon Blanc, with Moscato and Pinot Gris. Organically farmed grapes from the Allegre vineyard, the Sauvignon Blanc received two days of skin maceration before being pressed and barrel fermented; Pinot Gris and Moscato Giallo were both fermented in stainless steel, all with native yeast. A wild garden of aromas, with iris and gardenia notes upfront, giving way to honeysuckle and sweet mango in the back. The palate is dry, but sensous, the skin contact Sauvignon giving texture and hint of tannin, with the Pinot Gris and Moscato yielding supple stone fruit. A perfect white wine pairing with turkey and gravy or bitter green salads.
