The Details
100% Macabeo from 50 year-old north-east facing vineyard ‘Noguer Baix’ on very chalky soils. Organically farmed in accordance with the lunar calendar. Direct press of whole bunches, natural fermentation without inputs in clay amphora. Fermentation finishes in bottle, after which the wine ages on the yeast for 2 years.
Anima Mundi Pells is the fruit of soul and intelligence. Agustí Torelló Sibill, the family winery’s expert oenologist, makes this white wine with vineyards that are 50 years old, and strives at all times to achieve the balance between plant and terroir; an accompaniment that takes place throughout the entire vegetative cycle and is aimed at imbuing the vineyard with sufficient capacity to respond to any outside pests or risks.
