The Details
100% Chenin Blanc biodynamically cultivated across a variety of parcels with various terroirs (tuffeau/red clay/flint/clay. 30 year-old vines on average, the wine takes its name from the vine tears that appear at the end of winter (the first visible sign of passive-active life, as per their importer Steven Graf -- the start of a new cycle).
Directly pressed into stainless steel tank and aged 6 months thereafter. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2. 13.4%ABV
