The Details

From legendary natural Rhône estate Domaine Gramenon, this is 100% Syrah from biodynamically cultivated 15-35 year-old vines. Grapes are hand-harvested, partically destemmed and macerate for 12 days in cement tank prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and élevage for 7 months in a combination of cement tank and neutral barrique prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, minimal (<15ppm) added SO2 depending on vintage, sometimes zero/zero.
