The Details
100% Grenache from organically cultivated vines at the Shake Ridge Vineyard in Amador County, California. Grapes are hand-harvested in late September, foot-crushed, and spontaneously ferment 100% whole-cluster in tank. 5-days maceration prior to pressing, the wine is transferred to tank to finish spontaneous fermentation over the course of ~10 days. Neutral oak élevage for 9 months prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, minimal (25ppm) added SO2. 13% ABV
