The Details
100% organically cultivated (with biodynamic practices) Pinot Gris from Rosheim in the north of Alsace from one the great purveyors of skin-contact wines, Jean-Marc Dreyer. Grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously ferment/macerate for 7 days in open-top vat outside the cellar prior to pressing and transfer to large old barrels for élevage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
