The Details
Saumur, Loire Valley, France. 100% Cabernet Franc from 70-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone & silex. The grapes were destemmed, macerated for several weeks, and then aged for 2 years mostly in neutral barrels. Unfined, unfiltered, with a small addition of SO2 at bottling.
