The Details

From the limestone plateau of the Orb Valley that Axel Prüfer has called home for over 20 years, this is a carbonically macerated Cinsault. Grapes are hand-harvested, carbonically macerate prior to pressing and a short élevage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 10.8% ABV

Jalava was the name of the train driver that helped Lenin flee Europe and get back to Russia by disguising him as the train’s coal shoveler
