The Details
Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from Magpie Springs and Pinot Noir from The Deans. Whole bunch pressed Sauvignon and Semillon fermented on Merlot stalks (!!) which give a reddish color and sappy tannins, then blended with 10% carbonically macerated Pinot Noir. The wine completes ferment and is aged in a 2000L wooden barrel. No additions, whatsoever. 100% a bop!
Anton Von Klopper is a natural wine genius, one of the great legends of South Australian natty wine and one of theΒ heroes of zero additive wines in the Southern hemisphere. Located in the Basket Range of South Australia, Anton started his Lucy Margaux label in 2002 as a tribute to his daughter Lucy and to a cheeky take on the famous Chateau Margaux.Β
