The Details
100% Chardonnay from vines planted in 1953 on marl soil. Là-Haut comes from the upper part of Nicolas’ 0.70 hectar vineyard in L’Etoile. After settling for 12 hours after a manual harvest, fermentation takes place in 228L barrels. Elevage for 18 months in used barrels. Unfined / unfiltered, no added SO2. 650 bottles produced.
