This is a lovely light red from Patrick Bouju of Domaine La Boheme who works in central France's Auvergne and often sources grapes from trusted farmers in Beaujolais.
Tasting Notes: Super soif and red berried all over. Goes down too easily but undeniably charming. Sort of like mid-career Annie Lennox?
Vinification: 100% Gamay, from various organic plots in Beaujolais (including Brouilly and blue stone sites). Destemmed, 15 day maceration, spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass tanks with indigenous yeasts. Unfined, unfiltered, with no additional SO2.
