The Details
An Etnean red-dominant, co-ferment! From Salvatore Giardina of Masseria Case Rosse's négoce project Racina Republic, this is Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Grecanico, and Carricante from both the north and northeast faces of the mountain. Grapes are hand-harvested and macerate for a combination (portions macerate variously) of either a few hours or up to 12 days. Blended and spontaneously fermented and aged thereafter in fiberglass for 9 months prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 13.5%ABV
