The Details
The Slate Flower - Schieferblume is 100% Riesling from 4 differnet vineyards biodynamically farmed since 1978 by Rita & Rudolf Trossen. Vines range in age from 27 to 60 years-old. Grapes are hand-harvested and whole-bunch directly pressed to 1000L stainless steel tank before aging for a further 6 months sur lie also in tank. Bottled unfined, coarsely filtered, minimal (<15ppm) additional SO2.
