The Details

100% Gamay from centenarian vines planted ~500m elevation around Romuald's home in Beaujeu. These vines are cultivated according to Fukuoka's do-nothing agriculture; they are left to grow wild and are neither pruned nor ploughed. Grapes are hand-harvested, whole-cluster spontaneously fermented and aged in neutral vessel before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
