The Details

Off the Gravenstein highway before entering downtown Sebastopol, there is the Zander Vineyard of own-rooted 101 year-old Zinfandel. Grapes are hand-harvested from the vines planted to pure sandy soils in late October of 2023. Destemmed and macerated/spontaneously fermented to dryness, the wine is then pressed and spends 13 months in neutral barrel before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 13% ABV
