This is an unbelievably elegant (the word some journalists would use is 'gastronomic') complex and delicious rosé with a kind of strawberry-rhubarb savory element backboned by bright sage, cardamom, and pomegranates through the palate. Tart and refreshing with a sneaky long finish -- an absolutely wild rendition from legendary Strohmeier, a very small estate in southern Austria's Styria and one of the region's natural viticulture pioneers.
Vinification: 100% Blauer Wildbacher. Hand-harvested, ambient yeasts, no temp. control. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. More Vinification details to come.
