About the wine

100% Blauer Wildbacher from old-vines grown on a steep slope with loamy opok soils near Franz's house. Hand-harvested, destemmed, 4-hour maceration on the skins. Softly pressed, the wine spontaneously ferments in wooden barrel where it then rests for 6 months. Secondary fermentation happens in bottle with slight additional dosage. Zero/zero.
