The Details
Bianco bitters - Ligurian style aperitivo from Austria! Base for the beverage is natural Blaufrankisch from the Burgenland in southeastern Austria. Fortified with corn spirit (organic) also from Austria. Sevilla Oranges from Spain and Citron from Sicily are the dominant botnicals - various herbs, spices, vanilla beans and hibiscus are added to the mix. Hand-sliced, the fruit, herbs, and vanilla macerate in stainless with the corn distillate for 3 weeks prior to the addition of the wine. The whole batch macerates for 40 days prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, 15ppm added SO2. 18% ABV
