The Details
From biodynamically farmed vines in the Mâconnais, this is 100% Chardonnay from ~35 year-old vines that sees neutral barrel for both spontaneous fermentation and aging ~1 year. Unfined, unfiltered, ~10ppm added SO2 at bottling. The ‘jewel’ of the estate as they name it – really brilliant and long. Could lay down for aging or have with a more robust meal – again, crazy value for bona fide natural Burgundy.
