The Details

100% old-vine Grüner from Weinviertel not far from Vienna. Directly pressed after manual harvest upon arrival at the cellar, the juice spontaneously ferments in stainless steel prior to several years of élevage in Acacia barrels cultivated from the trees grown around the same vineyards from which the wine's grapes are sourced -- "a symbolic union happening in the depths of the cellar." Unfined, unfiltered, the wine is bottled with minimal added SO2.
