The Details

100% Pinot Noir from 2 parcels in Heiligenstein, Alsace. Grapes are organically cultivated on 35-45 year-old vines planted to volcanic sandstone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested and whole-bunch macerate / spontaneously ferment for 3 weeks prior to pressing. A year of élevage in old casks. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
