The Details

100% biodynamically cultivated Moscato Bianco from 50+ year-old vines planted in the volcanic soils of Colli Euganei of the Veneto. Grapes are hand-harvested a 0.8 parcel, destemmed, and macerate for 13 days in stainless steel tank before pressing. Spontaneous fermentation to full dryness and aging also in tank for 1 year before bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 


This wine is named after a seaweed-like plant that gets fried and

placed on top of local seafood like the small soft-shell moeche

crabs of the Venetian lagoon. This was Anders Fredrik Steen's favorite wine of 2025.
