The Details
A rare, new cuvée for Paul and Christelle of Domaine des Miquettes created as an homage to a friend who passed away, prematurely, in the interim between 2016 and the present after having helped plant this vineyard dedicated to a host of unique varieties to the region, in Cheminas in the Southern portion of St. Joseph on a plateau above the towns of Tournon & Secheras. A co-ferment of: Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chasselas, Marsanne, Roussanne, Chenin, Rayon d'Or & Gamay. Grapes are hand-harvested, slowly pressed to a combination of stainless steel and amphora where the juices spontaneously ferment prior to aging in the same vessels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
