The Details
100% Syrah from vines biodynamically cultivated vines in Cheminas in the Southern portion of St. Joseph on a plateau above the towns of Tournon & Secheras. Grapes are hand-harvested, and spontaneously fermented & macerate for 6 months in buried amphora prior to a further 6 months aging also in buried amphora. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. Madloba means "Thank you" in Georgian, an ode to what inspired their use of buried amphora after a life-changing visit decades ago to the country.
