The Details

From the northern face of Mt. Etna at high elevation (750m), this is Nerello Mascalese, Inzolia, and Carricante planted to pure volcanic soils. Grapes are hand-harvested, and co-fermented over 5 days with partial destemming. Élevage for 12 months in concrete before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
