The Details

Mainly Nerello Mascalese with some Grenache from very high elevation on the northern face of Mt. Etna in the Barbabecchi Contrada/Cru (1000m elevation). Grapes are hand-harvested, macerate for 5 days prior to pressing and spontaneous fermentation and aging for 12 months in concrete tank. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
