Saumur, Loire Valley, France. 100% Cabernet Franc from 70 & 20-year-old vines planted on limestone, silex, clay, and sand. The grapes were destemmed, macerated for 3 weeks, and then aged for 2 years mostly in neutral barrel (10% new). Unfined, unfiltered, with a small addition of SO2 at bottling.
