From the importer, NOMADIC Wines
Edouard Lafitte was one of the first of several influential winemakers to begin working in the remote area of la Tour de France in the mid90s. He perceived it to be "the end of the world," and after several years working in the cooperative cellar of Estézargues, he began his adventures in farming under that very name with seven and a half hectares of high-altitude vines on granite, schist, and gneiss. He creates elegant and possessing wines of both density and lift using low-temperature carbonic maceration.
