About the wine
100% biodynamically cultivated Blaufrankisch. Grapes are hand harvested and macerated as whole bunches for 2 weeks. Spontaneously fermented in wooden fermenter. Aged for 12 months in a used 2000l oak barrel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with 10 mg of added sulfites.
“The next generation of our precious Gritschenberg vineyard, made from young vines coming from our own selection massale. The vines were taken from and grow right next to the old vines planted by my grandfather in 1969.” The name refers to this “generational bond” as well – CRIC [kritch] is short for Gritschenberg.
