The Details
100% Blaufränkisch from young vines on the limestone hills in the Leithaburg north of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. Grapes are hand-harvested and whole-bunch macerate for 2 weeks prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and aging for 12 months in 2000L neutral oak barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal (10ppm) added SO2.
