The Details
The opposite cépage breakdown from the "Miau" this is 90% Vernatsch (Schiava) and 10% Lagrein. A featherweight, Alpine Italian Red from Alto-Adige!
After a short maceration the grapes are pressed into stainless steel. The pomace (marc) of their Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, and Sylvaner is then added to the juice to give a fascinating tannic structure and amplified aromatics to this otherwise quite pale red juice. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 11.5%ABV, tiny spritz.
