Taking their cues from those at the vanguard of 'natural' chablis & the modern 'ouillè' renditions of the Jura's Chardonnay/Savagnin, Seckinger's produced a thrilling cold-climate Chardonnay from Germany's southern Pfalz. 100% Chardonnay from 55 year-old, biodynamically cultivated vines planted yellow/red sandstone & marl/limestone soils, the grapes are pressed whole-cluster into neutral German oak barrique before resting for 10 months' worth of élevage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. (zero/zero) 12%ABV
