The Details
This is a very sharp and dry rosé with refreshing dark fruit (blackberry, black cherry, blueberry) through the palate and a short finish from Joe Swick who works in Oregon's Willamette Valley and Washington's Columbia Gorge.
Vinification: 100% Pinot Noir hand-harvested and destemmed before being directly pressed into concrete eggs where the juice undergoes spontaneous fermentation (ambient yeasts; no temp. control) over the course of 8 months before being bottled young, unfined, unflitered, with a touch of additional SO2.
