The Details

100% Riesling from 4 different vineyards - 'Schieferblume' translates to 'Slate Flower' and refers to the gray/blue slate soils of the vines and the wine that blooms thereafter. Grapes are hand-harvested and whole-bunch directly pressed into 1000L stainless steel tank where spontaneous fermentation takes place over 4-6 months. Bottled coarsely filtered, unfined, minimal added SO2. 10.5%ABV
