The Details

From Mosel Legends Rita & Rudolf Trossen who have practiced biodynamic viticulture in the heart of the German winemaking scene since 1978, this is composed of 100% Riesling. The vines average 45 years-old and live in Grey and Blue Slate soils. Once hand-harvested, the grapes are slowly, directly-pressed whole bunch before spontaneous fermentation in 1000L wooden tank. Fermentation/élevage sur lie take place in the same vessel over the course of 20 months. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2 (Zero/Zero). 11.5%ABV
